Methodology & Data Notes

This is an independent research snapshot. We compiled current generic U.S. Taco Bell category listings reviewed September 12–13, 2026 and calculated the comparisons shown above.

Reference prices

Prices come from Taco Bell's generic U.S. menu/category listings. Taco Bell states that participating restaurant prices, hours, promotions, and availability vary by location.

Ranking rules

The individual-food analysis excludes drinks, combo meals, group packs, sauces, and add-ons. Duplicate products appearing in multiple categories are counted once.

Calorie rules

Exact-calorie rankings exclude entries that Taco Bell lists as a calorie range. Customized orders can change nutrition values.

One current category can display multiple calorie variants for the same item depending on sauce or configuration. Where our dataset uses one value, it reflects the primary listing used in this research snapshot.
